The what, the why and everything in between.

Every good blog course tells you to find your niche and stick to it. Do not divert. Niche down if you want to be successful…if you want to make it big. Do you want a successful Instagram account? Niche down. Do you want to monetize your blog? Niche down.

I cannot, will not, niche down.

So, maybe I won’t have the monetized blog and an Instagram account with thousands of followers, but at least I will be ME.

That being said, what is this blog all about? In broad terms…a little bit of this and a little bit of that, or simpler terms–my life.

I am a multipassionate person, which has been a blessing and curse. I went from being a California girl who wore flip-flops every day while sipping boba teas to a Midwesterner who cooks from scratch and cans food year-round. I read, write, homeschool, garden, and craft. And the list goes on and on. I guess my point is this: It’s okay to be you. You do not have to fit in the mold of what the world defines as successful or ‘right’.

Growing up I was told I was too much of a daydreamer. I needed to live in reality with the rest of the world. I was told I read too much and that real life was not a fairytale, but I wholeheartedly disagree. My life may not be the fairytale I dreamed it would be, but it’s still a fairytale. My fairytale is woven by the hand of God. Sure it’s had its fair share of tragedies, but in the end, God wins, He gets all the glory, and that’s all that matters.

Here on my little piece of the interwebs, I will share my passions, thoughts, opinions, and everything in between. If nothing else, I hope it inspires you, the reader, to do the same. But most importantly I hope you see your fairytale woven by the master Storyteller.
